I recently came across a quote I love, that I wrote, such a long time ago!
It was on the same day that I gave a public presentation.
Before the presentation, I spent a long time planning and preparing. I wrote the speech, created the slides, practiced the speech, in front of the mirror and on video.
When the day arrived for the presentation, I was ready!
In front of a group of about 15 people, I gave over the presentation.
It didn’t go the way I had planned. I changed things last minute. I left vital information out.
I remember leaving and feeling disappointment.
I had planned so well. I wasn’t nervous. Somehow it hadn’t gone exactly to plan.
We plan. We prepare ourselves for important event. Life doesn’t always go the way we want. Challenges happen. They happen for a reason. Often making us a better version of ourselves.

Leaving the presentation I was disappointed, yet after thinking about it for a while, I realized that even if it wasn’t so great in my eyes, the others enjoyed it, gave reasonable feedback and I knew I was going to do it better next time!

Positivity
Hope
Faith
Those are the important things to remember. To trust in you. To have a positive mindset, to be hopeful for all that you do, to have faith in yourself. You don’t need anything else. Do you?
