Living the dream is a mindset, just like many other things in life.
“We can choose to live a life of repeated boredom
we can choose to live this life, in it, being here.
Enjoying life as it is, remembering there’s only one lifetime, why not have fun?” -Jo Rothchild
“Living the dream”
Are you looking at the future, the dream and mixing it with something in the present, the living and the now?
It’s a very positive way to live.
Living an ideal life is not always simple, yet very doable.
I came across a quote I love, that I wrote a such a long time ago!
It was on a day that I gave a public presentation. Before the presentation, I spent a long time planning and preparing. I wrote the speech, created the slides, practiced the speech, in front of the mirror and on video.
When the day arrived for the presentation, I was ready!
In front of a group of about 15 people, I gave over the presentation.
It didn’t go the way I had planned. I changed things last minute. I left vital information out.
Hard Work & Growth Leads To Success. I know. I did it. More than once!
8 years ago, I walked into a new job. It was really hard at first. I started back at the bottom, after years up working my way up.
When my long term manager job, ended due to downsizing, I went low key for a little while. I wasn’t prepared to go back in the corporate world just yet. Back in to the game so to speak. I spent time looking around. Seeing what was out there.
Today is Yom Hashoah.
A day for Jews to remember the 6 million who perished in the Holocaust and the heroism of survivors and rescuers.
The Hebrew name ‘shoah’, meaning ‘whirlwind’.
Yom Hashoah was established in Israel in 1959.
Falls on the 27th Nissan (Jewish month), the anniversary of the Warsaw Ghetto uprising.
At 10am in Israel, we get out our cars on the street, we stop what we are doing and we stand for two minutes silence.
Difficult day for many.
We must remember and never forget.
